This page explains, specifically, what each Botple product actually does with data — not one blanket statement across every product, because that wouldn't stay accurate as more tools launch.

Botple Calc

Botple Calc runs entirely in your browser or as an installed app on your device. It doesn't require an account, doesn't send your calculations, history, or bookmarks anywhere, and doesn't use analytics or tracking of any kind. Anything it remembers — history, bookmarks, theme, settings — is stored locally on your device via your browser's local storage and never leaves it. Clearing your browser data or uninstalling the app removes it completely.

MindSight (not yet live)

MindSight hasn't launched, so nothing here is currently active — this describes what will be true once it does, so there are no surprises later. MindSight is expected to involve a basic account so progress can be saved, reading passages and written answers being processed by a third-party AI service (Anthropic's Claude) to generate questions and evaluate responses, and that data being stored to track progress over time. Before public launch, this section will be replaced with finalized details, including retention and deletion.
