Independently developed

Botple is developed independently, without external funding, company backing, or investors. Right now, that also means there's no formal way to financially support the project — this page exists to be upfront about that and explain what support could look like later.

What support would go toward

If support is ever set up, it would go toward the real, ongoing costs of keeping Botple running: hosting and domain fees, AI API usage (for tools like MindSight once it's live), storage, and development time.

How support might work, eventually

If ongoing costs become harder to sustain personally, options like donations, sponsorships, partnerships with schools or organizations, or infrastructure/technology credits from providers may be explored. Nothing is set up yet — there's no payment system, no donation button, and no third-party platform connected to this page. If that changes, this page will be updated clearly, before anything is ever asked of anyone.

For now

The most useful support right now is simple: use Botple Calc, report anything broken or confusing, and tell other students it exists.
