Filling in a worksheet on a locked-down school laptop
A school laptop is usually locked down by the IT department: no new programs, no browser extensions, sometimes no access to the Microsoft Store at all. That rules out almost every PDF editor before you start.

Why the usual advice does not work here
The advice you find online assumes you can install something. On a managed device you cannot, and the "open with Word" trick turns a neat worksheet into a wrestling match with margins and floating text boxes.
How to do it
- Open the worksheet in your browserGo to the app and drag your PDF onto the page. Nothing is installed and nothing is uploaded — the file stays on the laptop.
- Click where the answer goesBlank areas are found for you. If one is missed, click anywhere and type — you are not limited to the boxes it found.
- Export a clean copyYou get a new PDF. The original worksheet your teacher sent is never modified.
One honest note
If your school blocks the site itself, nothing here helps — that is a decision only your IT department can change, and it is worth asking them rather than working around it.
